Tour departs at 9:00am from the Hobart Travel and Information Centre, 16-20 Davey Street. 

(Corner of Davey and Elizabeth St.) - Hotel pick up prior, if requested. 

Sit back and relax with a 1 hour farmland drive to the seaside town of Triabunna. 
We catch the 10:30am Encounter Maria Island Ferry. A scenic 30-minutes across the Mercury Passage. 
Included is a hot drink as we lookout for marine life such as dolphins and seals. 

Arrive to Maria Island National Park and start a day of exploring by foot. We have two-walking options for the day: The Painted Cliffs and The Fossil Cliffs - depending on weather/tide level we will choose accordingly. 

Walking distance approx. 6km, 2.5hrs. Easy-Moderate Tracks, some hills, gravel roads, some loose rocks, signed tracks.

Arrive in Darlington Convict Site for a cooked lunch inside the 'mess hall'. 
Enjoy a glass of wine over a lunch prepared by your guides. 

Spend the afternoon learning wandering and learning about the World Heritage Listed Darlington Convict Site. 
Relax by the Darlington Beach with local wombats before boarding the 3:30pm ferry back to mainland Tasmania. 

Journey back to Hobart, arriving by approx. 5:00pm
