East Coast of Tasmania Overnighter

Enjoy an overnight stay on the East Coast and experience the allure of Wineglass Bay, one of Tasmania’s top tourist destinations nestled within the breathtaking Freycinet National Park.

Day 1.

Our adventure begins with a stop in the coastal township of Swansea, offering the perfect opportunity for morning tea and to gather any supplies needed for the day ahead. Then, we continue our journey to Freycinet National Park, where we'll immerse ourselves in three hours of exploration at Wineglass Bay. You can hike, swim, sunbathe, and unwind here amidst the stunning surroundings. 

4 hours have been allocated for a moderate-level walk into Wineglass Bay. (With the option to enjoy the national park with a short walk set 1-hour round trip) Additionally, our tour encompasses other iconic destinations within the park, including the picturesque Honeymoon Bay, Friendly Beaches, Sleepy Bay, and the panoramic vistas from Cape Tourville lookout. 

Your accommodation for the night will be in Coles Bay, where you'll reside at the Iluka Backpackers where dinner will be included. Enjoy a laid-back Aussie BBQ style dinner that's perfect for sharing stories and laughter with your new and old friends. Spend the rest of the evening perched by the campfire with toasted marshmallows for dessert.  (Feel free to bring your food)

Day 2.

Our morning commences with a refreshing walk along the serene shores of Friendly Beaches, where the adventurous can take a dip in the crystalline waters.

Next up, Devils Corner Winery, where you will find views of Great Oyster Bay and the majestic Hazards. Indulge in a wine-tasting session featuring award-winning cool climate wines. (Optional & not included.

As we return to Hobart, we'll make a detour to Kate's Berry Farm, where you can indulge in delicious ice cream, and refreshing drinks, or leisurely browse the charming shop.

Drop off around 3 pm.
