11th May; Huon Valley & Surrounding Areas

Explore the vibrant flavours and natural beauty of the Huon Valley on our exclusive tour, showcasing the best of Tasmania's culinary and outdoor experiences. Join us as we embark on a journey to discover the unique charm of this picturesque region.

Our adventure begins at Willie Smith's Apple Shed ($16-$39 tastings) where you'll immerse yourself in the rich history and artisanal craftsmanship of Tasmania's apple industry. Sample a variety of handcrafted ciders, and indulge in farm-fresh delights at the onsite cafe. Next, we'll visit Grandvewe ($15) a boutique cheesery nestled in the heart of the Huon Valley. Here, you'll have the opportunity to taste a selection of award-winning sheep's milk cheeses, crafted with passion and expertise.

No trip to the Huon Valley is complete without a visit to Pagan Cider, renowned for its handcrafted ciders made from locally sourced apples. Learn about the traditional methods of cider production, and savour the unique flavours of Pagan's premium ciders during a tasting session.

Immerse yourself in the creative spirit of the Huon Valley at Harvest and Light ($14-$36) and browse a diverse range of handmade crafts, artworks, and gourmet products.

Conclude your tour with a stroll along the scenic banks of a tranquil river, where you'll have the opportunity to spot one of Australia's most elusive creatures – the platypus.
